Comparison · six products, eight criteria
LobbyGuard, Raptor VisitorSafe, EduQueue, Ident-A-Kid, SchoolPass, Visitu
Every cell below is either a claim from the vendor’s own public page, with a footnote, or the words “not published”. We do not estimate prices and we do not paraphrase a competitor’s feature list from memory. The EduQueue column is our own product and should be read with the same scepticism as the others.
Read the column headings as two companies, not six. LobbyGuard and SchoolPass are Raptor Technologies products (acquired 2019 and 2023).1 Ident-A-Kid and Visitu are both CENTEGIX products: identakid.com now redirects to centegix.com, and CENTEGIX is offering legacy Ident-A-Kid customers a transition to Visitu.2 That leaves Raptor, CENTEGIX and EduQueue as the independent choices in this table.

What EduQueue does, in one paragraph
Web and kiosk check-in; driver’s-licence scan; badge printing on DYMO and Brother printers; sex-offender screening against Asan Digital’s own database covering all 50 states and U.S. territories; PowerSchool sync; appointments; SMS reminders; an evacuation report; multi-building and municipal profiles; per-building pricing with a free single-building tier; data export on request. When Raptor is the right choice
We would be a poor analyst if we pretended otherwise. Raptor VisitorSafe is the better fit when:
- You are buying the suite. If emergency management, reunification, volunteer screening with Level 2/3 background checks and a hall-pass product are on the same purchase order, one vendor with one support number is a real advantage, and the board records on our pricing page show Raptor discounting implementation and training when the suite is bundled.
- Your state or cooperative contract already names Raptor. GSA, BuyBoard and TIPS purchasing vehicles appear repeatedly in the public records; if your procurement office can buy off one of them without an RFP, that is weeks saved.
- You want a vendor with 60,000+ schools and a large account team. Raptor states that scale on its product page.4 We are a small company; if your risk register needs a large one, we understand.
- You need integrations we do not have. Clever and ClassLink rostering, Blackbaud or Veracross, tardy write-back to the SIS: Raptor and its SchoolPass product list these; today we sync from PowerSchool; ask us about write-back before assuming it.
If none of those apply and what you want is a front desk that keeps your kiosks, prices per building, and hands you your data, read on.
